Cindy Southerland will bring Carson City resident Anne Hudnall Martin to life and will entertain you with an interesting recount of her life as the 2nd woman newspaper owner/publisher, teacher and 1st woman superintendent of the U.S. Assay Office (formerly the U.S. Carson City Mint), and explain why she is dismayed when she is often mistaken for suffrage advocate, Anne Henrietta Martin.
